Fort Saskatchewan RCMP seek assistance in identifying suspect vehicle responsible for drive by shooting

Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. – On July 12, 2020, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responded to reports of shell casings found in the area of Westwood Pointe.

Investigation revealed that around 5:30 am a small black car with a broken rear passenger taillight was seen speeding down the roadway shortly after two audible gunshots were heard. Two bullet holes were found in the tailgate of an uno

ccupied truck.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, and the police investigation is ongoing. At this time we are not able to confirm whether this was a targeted incident.

We are appealing to the public for any information which might assist in identifying the suspect and vehicle responsible.
